2026- Annelise Grube-Cavers Spallucheen, BC
Annelise Grube-Cavers is a third generation farmer who owns and operates Fresh Valley Farms in Spallumcheen, BC. She works with Steve, her partner in life, and in business, to provide pasture-raised, certified organic meats and eggs directly to eaters throughout the Okanagan Valley and beyond.
Annelise has served as a Director of the BC Agriculture Council representing Organic BC since being appointed to that seat in 2024. This year she was elected to the executive and is acting as chair of the BCAC’s Landuse Committee. In 2025 she was nominated to sit on the Premier’s Task Force on Agriculture and the Food Economy alongside four other producers.
Closer to home she serves on the board of the North Okanagan Organic Association, and volunteers with her kids school when farming allows for it. She loves talking about agriculture, and she loves food: growing it, harvesting it, preparing it, and eating it, especially with her two young kids.
