(Mar 21, 2026 – Regina, SK) Saskatchewan’s Outstanding Young Farmers announced, siblings Jordon Lynch and Chansi Bourke, who farm at Osage SK as their regional winners, during the regional event held in conjunction with Canada’s Farm Show March 19, 2026. Jordon and Chansi will proudly represent Saskatchewan at the National Event in Vancouver BC in November 2026.
Lynch Farm Partnership (LFP) is a 4th generation 12 000-acre cereal, oilseed and lentil farm based out of Osage, SK. It is jointly operated by Jordon and Dakota Lynch, Chansi and Patrick Bourke, and Keegan and Shelbi Lynch. The managing partners work together as a non-hierarchical team for decision making having done a lot of work on farm governance to make that a possibility.
LFP’s mission is to honor their rich family legacy by fostering a spirit of teamwork and collaboration among all family members, ensuring that every generation contributes to a shared vision. They are dedicated to exploring and integrating innovative agricultural technologies that enhance productivity and maintain high standards of grain quality while practicing good agronomy and sustainable farming practices, including zero tillage and variable rate strategies. They strive to cultivate not only their fields but also their values—integrity, stewardship, and a passion for agriculture that feeds their community and beyond.
Jordon received his diploma in Ag Business from the University of Saskatchewan in 2010. Shortly after graduating he went to New Zealand and farmed for 10 months on a grain and sheep farm learning many valuable lessons abroad. He returned to Osage and became a partner with his parents, Les and Deanne, in 2012 and they created Lynch Farm Partnership. Jordon, his wife Dakota and their daughters Amelia and London, live in Osage.
Chansi works off farm as an agronomist for Top Notch Farm Supply in Fillmore. She met her husband Patrick in 2010, an Australian who had come to Canada to work and was only going to stay for “six months”. He fell in love with Saskatchewan and farming and started working for Lynch Farm Partnership when Chansi graduated. They officially joined the partnership in 2018 and live with their daughters Hudson, Ivy and Sage in Osage.
Their brother, Keegan joined LFP in 2023 after parents, Les and Deanne, retired from the partnership.
Keegan originally became a journeyman plumber but came back to be part of the family farm with his siblings. Keegan and Shelbi and their daughters Georgia and Macklyn live in Sedley
The Canada’s Outstanding Young Farmers competition of the Saskatchewan region had the pleasure to present two diverse and impressive sibling operations during the 2026 regional competition. The recognized candidates were:

- Beau and Cashe Stevenson- Hi-Lite Feedlot- Melfort
The Federal Minister of Agriculture, Heath MacDonald, and James Thorsteinson, the MLA, current Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Agriculture in Saskatchewan brought greetings at the event. Canada’s Outstanding Young Farmers Program, President Amy Cornin, had this to say about the event: “Celebrating the Lynch and Stevenson families at the Saskatchewan Outstanding Young Farmer event was exactly what our program stands for. Young farmers doing remarkable things, being innovative and striving for excellence, all while holding family close and contributing to the community. It was an honour to be present, to see the fruits of hard work of the Sask OYF board in putting together an incredible event attracting alumni, sponsors, industry and farmers from throughout the province. Congratulations to the Lynch family. You will represent Saskatchewan well at nationals in Vancouver in November!”
Canada’s Outstanding Young Farmers competition is an annual competition aimed at rewarding the farmers who demonstrate excellence in their profession and promoting agriculture’s huge contribution. Open to participants under 40 years of age, whose major source of income comes from agricultural sources, participants are selected from seven regions in Canada, and two national winners are chosen each year. The program is sponsored nationally by Agriculture & Agrifood Canada, CIBC, John Deere, Bayer, Sollio Agriculture, Meridian Manufacturing, and CN with medias sponsors Glacier FarmMedia, and Nucleus Consulting and video sponsor Bamboo Shoots. It is supported nationally by BDO.
Canada’s Outstanding Young Farmers of 2026 will be chosen during the national competition that will be held in Vancouver BC, from November 26th to 29th 2026.
